Hi Amy – I tried this with a client and they had their own account but the sharing across our IDs created issues. Quicken has an option for Web-access that you could share with the client and still manage the master file but I had a client issue and they told me to turn it off — so I’m not sure it’s ready for prime time. This is all things that have happened in the past month.

Have you had any success? I know you posed this a while ago.

I use Timesheets that integrates with Quickbooks and it’s made my life so much easier. Another DMM mentioned it at the last conference.

Follow up: Does any one have a form they have used for client to approve of your online access to their account?

When you have done this, you are basically NOT being POA, just having them say they are letting you access the account and don’t need to get the additional rider as a POA, right?
