Do we know more or less what time the last session on Sunday ends? I am trying to book my flight now as the prices are already quite high, and don’t know when I would be able to leave that day.

    Thanks!

I am not sure about this. Most of my clients have no interest in looking at their own Quicken data, and for those who do, I work on site for them accessing Quicken through their own computers. I would think that the Dropbox share folder option would work, but not really sure. I would check with Quicken support to find out for sure.

    Hi Kim,
The new Quicken app now allows multiple clients files with one user account. You can have the app on your desktop, tablet or smartphone and choose which file to log into. It’s very handy! Go to http://www.quicken.com to get more information.

I am using TrueLink with a client of mine who has been overspending as well as getting scammed by internet and phone frauds. It has definitely been helpful in that regard, as you can place blocks on certain types of charges and and we have blocked all phone or internet charges so she can’t be scammed anymore. Cash can only be taken out at certain ATMs – in our area, at CVS or RiteAids – but my client has memory issues so she continues to use regular banks and incurs a $3 fee each time. Otherwise, it’s been great.

I use Chrome Remote Desktop with all my clients. A bit tricky to download and get started the first time (better if you are in there in person to walk them through it), but once it’s loaded, it’s very easy to use. Here’s a good tutorial on getting it set up. https://www.computerworld.com/article/3230909/enterprise-applications/chrome-remote-desktop-how-to-connect-two-devices-remotely.html

    Hi Lynn,
Such a strange coincidence – I was just logging out of my Proton Mail account when I read your message! I have been using the free account for the past month and have been very happy with it. I don’t see the need to have it direct to my business email address. I just give them that email address to send any confidential information, and use my regular one for all other correspondence.

Also, you can use the secure app Signal for sending confidential text messages, which has been very helpful for those clients who prefer to text.

Looking forward to hearing what others have to say about this as well.

Of course, now that I post about this, I am starting to get forum emails on my account! Although I think I had to click on Favorite in order for this to happen…
