I decided to try a health share plan last year. I’ve been with Liberty Healthshare for over a year now and have been happy with it. I’ve not had any major health issues and do not have any chronic diagnosis. I was pleasantly surprised when they paid for majority of my annual well-woman exam. In addition, I did have one visit to my primary doctor for a minor issue. The doctor’s office understood the concept and gave me the ‘private pay’ rate with no hassles. I will say that it’s definitely been an eye opener into rate discrepancies charged through health insurance companies.
