A senior living community in my area is hosting an open house next Friday.

I am considering attending this event because it could be a good marketing opportunity to talk about AADMM and perhaps garner a speaking opportunity at the community in the future.

Has anyone else attended similar events and if you did, did you find it beneficial?

    Hi Todd,
If you haven’t been to such an event in your community, I would go. Not only is this an opportunity for you to introduce yourself as a potential speaker, but this could be a great opportunity to meet other in your community who provide services to seniors. Be it attorneys, geriatric care managers, move managers, these people are all potential referral sources. Afterwards you can evaluate the event and determine whether it is worthwhile to attend another in the future.
