I need some advice from my TX peers. I have a mother and son living together w son providing care giver support to mom. He has been paying for Cobra to which I asked why? If he can get a small income from Mom, he could qualify for ACA. He says he cannot be paid per TX law. Is that true?
Can someone point me to the statute so the other family members can be educated?
And FYI – paying him is ok w Mom (still competent) and other appropriate family. There is money to cover this…
