I would like to find a DMM for my friend’s mother who lives in Marin County, CA. I am not able to take on new clients right now.
The mother is in the very beginning of dementia but is able to make decisions and live an active life. She has always had a hard time with handling money and has debt. She is about 71 and otherwise in good health. She is married, but her and her husband’s finances are kept largely separate. She, her daughter (who lives in NY) and her son (in Bay Area) are all agreed that she would benefit from help managing her finances. They all have an agreeable and thoughtful relationship with each other. The kids have Power of Attorney, but there is no need to invoke it at this time.
