Curious to know what, if any, identity protection and credit monitoring services you use or recommend to clients. I’ve always recommended standard practices such as file taxes early; place a credit freeze on credit file; and monitor bank and credit accounts carefully. But lately I’m asked more frequently about these various providers. This site is helpful — http://highlightreviews.com/identity-theft-protection?wfcid=4a03361f-cf95-03c7-9f12-daeb15806780&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqM3VBRCwARIsAKcekb3jcFaIo0_RmCvPw9gjsooYGRHO1nY6V4jDEDC92ekPHrrfdVGABcsaAvNlEALw_wcB — but I love hearing from colleagues!

Thanks, in advance, for your guidance.

    Hi Roxanne,

I too would love to know what products people are recommending
Lifelock? Identity guard? Other? And what services people are interested in: Dark Web Monitoring, Social Security Monitoring. I recently learned of a company that was offering to monitor Home Titles?

One service I have used for many years is Credit Secure through American Express. It monitors credit sending monthly status reports and if there is activity it will send out alerts before the monthly automated email (although not sure if they are as immediate as I would like, seems to be a few days delay). There is login access to a dashboard where you can see credit reports (aggregated from all three credit reporting agencies), as well as alerts and other important information. They have now added products like: Dark Web Monitoring, Social Security Number Monitoring to their system.

That said, I’d be curious to know what others are using and/or recommending.

    Thank you,
    Alix
