Following last night’s discussion in the GNY Chapter meeting on taxes (1/10/19), I wanted to share a publication by one of our members, Evan Gilder, entitled “The Complete Guide to Household Employment in New York State.” Evan is a great resource and generous with his expertise on the subject, so I am sure will let you know how to get a copy of his booklet and answer any questions you might have on this topic. It behooves us as DMMs to have a basic understanding of household payroll and what it means to pay someone “on the books.”
