I am “subscribed” to several forums on the AADMM website, and thought that when a new post showed up in a forum that I was subscribed to, it would automatically go to my email address. However, this does not seem to be the case. Am I missing something in the settings? Or is it just that we actually have to log into the AADMM website every time we want to view the forum posts? If the latter, this should definitely be remedied in my opinion. There are a lot of important discussion topics that I am missing and there is no way I am going to remember to log in daily or even weekly to the AADMM website to check out the forums. If I am missing something in terms of setting up email delivery of forum posts, I would appreciate being informed of how to do this! I am also sending this email to info@aadmm.com, but thought if someone here knew off hand how to do this, I might get a faster answer.
November 29, 2017 at 7:40 am #12287AnonymousInactiveI totally agree. I haven’t received anything from these forum posts since the new website went live. I had lunch yesterday with a friend who is also is an AADMM member and we were discussing this exact topic. This used to be one of the main benefits of AADMM membership for me but it doesn’t seem to happen anymore 🙁
November 29, 2017 at 7:55 am #12288Karen EthridgeSpectatorI did receive several notifications from different forum topics in my email this week, which led me to believe the system is now working. I wonder if it has to do with the settings? You do have to click on the notification button after submitting a post.
I do appreciate the feature of hearing from other DMMs. Thanks for mentioning this.Barbara Boustead

November 29, 2017 at 10:52 am #12292Leona O’ConnorSpectatorOf course, now that I post about this, I am starting to get forum emails on my account! Although I think I had to click on Favorite in order for this to happen…
November 29, 2017 at 11:22 am #12293AnonymousInactiveI am having the same issue. I have notified the web developer about it and asked that he look into it. I have a call scheduled with him today. You should be getting email notifications if you are subscribed. I will update you after our call this afternoon.
November 29, 2017 at 11:53 am #12296AnonymousInactiveI wonder: I am “subscribed” to quite a few posts but that doesn’t seem to automatically send the posts to my email.
I also check marked some of the posts to “Notify me of follow-up replies via email.”
Those I seem to be getting.
Maybe we need to do both to get them…November 29, 2017 at 12:36 pm #12297AnonymousInactiveI just started getting emails late last night so something was broke and now it’s fixed as I didn’t change any setting yesterday.
Caitlin, can you also bring to the web developers attention the problem we’ve been seeing where if you hit submit on a forum reply, it comes back with a http_status code of 504 saying that it timed out but it actually worked. Then you hit submit again and you get your post listed twice. I’ve seen this at least twice under two different forum topics on two different PC’s and have seen it reported by other users.
November 29, 2017 at 1:03 pm #12298AnonymousInactiveThere was a setting changed yesterday with regard to a restriction on the quantity of emails that can be sent that came up on another issue. I am thinking that fixed this issue as well, but I will raise that with the developer.
Steve – I did get that error myself today and already forwarded the screenshot to the developer this morning. I am having him look at that as well. Thank you for mentioning though because today was the first I saw it.
November 29, 2017 at 1:08 pm #12299AnonymousInactiveCan you turn OFF a topic?! LOL!
November 29, 2017 at 1:19 pm #12300AnonymousInactivePlease please please tell me how to get off this string. It’s too much.
Thank you.
RobinNovember 29, 2017 at 1:32 pm #12302AnonymousInactiveI agree!!! Now I’m getting TWO of everything and a massive amount of AADMM email.
November 29, 2017 at 1:37 pm #12303HILARY BECKERSpectatorI’m not subscribed to any and I’ve been bombarded with emails all morning. I keep checking my phone thinking that it’s a client.
November 29, 2017 at 2:08 pm #12304AnonymousInactiveSorry everyone. We are working to resolve this issue as we speak.
