    Happy Prime Day!

Does anyone have frequent Amazon or Target shoppers as clients?

Have you found a way to get downloadable purchase information out of your clients Amazon account so you can properly categorize it beyond the Quicken default of Shopping.
With mega stores like Amazon, Walmart and Target, the purchases can represent vastly different categorizes, and the client and I feel there needs to be more visibility and accountability into the spend so we can budget appropriately.

    Thanks!

I have this problem personally. I buy everything on amazon! It’s very difficult to tie amazon shopping to specific charge amounts as an order may ship in partial spurts, and amazon only charges your card on shipment. The way, I deal with this is that anything under $100 I call misc shopping for expediency. If it’s over $100, I review and categorize. Categorizing every dang amazon purchase would eat me alive. Hope this helps!

    Jeremy,
On the Amazon website, if you go to “Your Account”, under Ordering and Shopping Preferences, there is a selection that says “Download Order Reports”. This will give you all of the items ordered in Excel format.
