We are at conference in Savannah, GA in a session for DMMs who serve seniors and lots of good book recommendations are going around.

Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande
How We Die, by Sherwin Nuland

I found a Ted talk by Atul, I still need to watch it but thought it may be helpful too.
