I worked with a non-profit business client recently on Quicken 2019 for Mac and did not see how to create the balance sheet, cash flow, and reconciliation reports.
Many of my home-based clients use Quicken and are satisfied with income & expense and payee/category-specific reports.
Has anyone discovered a way to generate the standard accounting reports with the new Quicken versions?
Does Mac have a Home & Business Version? On Windows that version has some reports under the business section that can (sort of) handle accrual accounting.
Quicken for MAC is limited in the reports it can generate. It is a sad reality that because Quicken originated with Intuit, a Microsoft company, much detail was left out of the MAC version. While Quicken is attempting to make changes to the MAC product as it is no longer owned by Microsoft, it will never match the capabilities and options provided in Quicken programs for PC.
There is no Home and Business version for the MAC.
I totally agree with you Natalie Stanger! So frustrating not to have same options for reports and etc for Mac clients as PC clients. I still use Quicken for Mac though until I hear of better options. Anyone have success with MINT or any other financial software for Mac?
