Hello, I was wondering how many of you use the Hubdoc app, do you find it worth the cost and if you suggest it to your clients?
Thank you

Keep Me Organized, LLCOctober 4, 2018 at 2:24 pm #12740AnonymousInactiveHi Kelly,
I have used Hubdoc but am not currently doing so.
At the time I used it I couldn’t justify the cost.
However, I do believe it is very useful for the right client and plan to implement it in the not so distant future.Feel free to reach out to me if you want to discuss it.

New York Financial Organizers, Inc.October 4, 2018 at 4:03 pm #12742AnonymousInactivePeter, this looks interesting. What type of client would you feel would be a good fit for this? 10% Remote? Younger client with online only who could snap receipts and send? Something other?

Best wishes! – Carrie

October 7, 2018 at 10:56 am #12747Meryl SchafferSpectatorI recently signed up for Hubdoc, but so far I am not impressed. When it works, it is great, but there are too many connections (banks) that it is just not working for, so it is taking more time than it is saving.
I love the idea, so I’m sad it is not working.
I do use Filethis.com for several clients, and even the free version for 6 accounts is nice. Quick and easy and lets us get rid of paper statements knowing they will automatically be downloaded onto their computers.

CariOctober 7, 2018 at 8:25 pm #12748AnonymousInactiveHello Cari,
I tried FileThis but I found it a little frustrating. Maybe because I started with Hubdoc, I am not sure. I agree with the bank situation. I too had that problem with certain banks, but they responded quickly in helping me sort it out. I really love Hubdoc but don’t see how I could honestly recommend it at that price.
Thanks all!
October 11, 2018 at 11:38 pm #12760AnonymousInactiveI have used Hubdoc for over a year. I like the feature of being able to publish the documents straight into my client’s QBO account. You still need to watch and make sure the right info is captured on some invoices, but for the most part works well for me. I have a couple of potential clients who I am using Hubdoc as an application I would plan on using for them both. I easily save the $20 / month cost in my time after just a few invoices are processed.
