I am looking to start doing payroll for my own business. There will be two employees to process so very small work effort. I would like to know how others have selected their payroll solutions and related tax payment approach. I want something reliable but not overkill for this scope of work.
FYI – I do not currently use Quickbooks for my business so please think beyond that for this question.
I have a small business client who just signed on with ADP. He’s paying $50/month.
You can try Paychex. They work with large and small companies, even if there is only one individual on payroll. I don’t know the fees offhand though. https://www.paychex.com
Not to hijack this post, but has anyone used the Care.com/Homepay payroll service that was a sponsor for the conference? I believe they only do household employees so not applicable to your initial question.
