I’m using QuickBooks for the first time for a client who is in need of the following services: budgeting, expense tracking, and debt payoff. How Long does it typically take to set up a client in Quickbooks? I would need to also import the client’s data from several bank accounts as well. I appreciate your help.
It is very hard to say a time. You need to take into consideration how many accounts and credit cards they have and how many transactions they do on each. It is a good way to convince them of simplification. It also depends on how far back you go. I usually start in the calendar year we are in. If it is January or February, I go back to the last year- at least 6 months.
